Rachel graduated high school in 2015 and just successfully completed college at the University of South Florida with a degree in English and a minor in communications. She is an advocate for those with disabilities. Rachel has created her non- profit, Ability Beyond Disabilities, to inspire those that have challenges to strive for their dreams as well as to educate those who might not understand the challenges people with autism face and to fund therapy and services that will be beneficial in improving one’s life.
As an individual with Epilepsy and Autism Spectrum Disorder- Rachel often feels like she cannot do things. People with disabilities or anyone who is different are often targets for bullies as Rachel was, but because of her life and social experiences, she has overcome many challenges. Today, she speaks at many events, holds positions on several boards across the country, and works with many different organizations to help improve the lives of people with disabilities.
Rachel is an award winning thespian obtaining superiors at the Thespian State competition, a model ,writer, actress and vocalist. Rachel was proud to win the student achievement award, and many state and national titles in pageantry as well. She works with several organizations that provide services to individuals with disabilities including therapy such as occupational and physical along with music and art therapy.
